A recent opening for our client, who is looking to expand their business in Data Centre as main contractor.
Currently, they are looking for an experienced Assistant Project Manager/Project Manager (M&E) for a Data Centre construction project.
You will be responsible for leading and managing the overall M&E scope of project management to ensure timely delivery of construction projects while also taking guidance and complying with project policies, standards, and requirements.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the mechanical and electrical aspects of construction projects, from design to installation and commissioning.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure the quality, safety, and timely delivery of M&E works.
Review and approve M&E drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports.
Monitor and control the M&E budget, schedule, and resources.
Supervise and guide the M&E team and subcontractors on site.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve any M&E issues or problems that may arise during the project.
Prepare and submit progress reports, change orders, variation orders, and claims to the management and clients.
Liaise with relevant authorities and stakeholders on M&E matters.
Requirements:
Experience: 10 years' experience in managing M&E, 2-3 years experience in Data Center projects.
Experience in a leadership role in construction project management.
At least a Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering or other equivalent certificates.
Knowledge in ACMV, HVAC, critical facilities, and other M&E related systems.
Proficient in MS Office applications and experience in using ACAD and BIM a plus.
Strong leadership and organizational skills and experienced in managing and developing staff.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (including technical writing and presentations) with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with technical and senior management staff.
Have relevant Data Center certifications; e.g., CDCP.
