As a Project Manager, Procurement Ops & Procure to Pay at Western Digital, you will be responsible for leading and managing digital projects aimed at transforming and optimizing our procurement processes. This role requires a unique blend of project management expertise, procurement knowledge, and digital technology acumen. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cutting-edge solutions that drive operational excellence in procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of the procurement digital transformation strategy.
Collaborate with procurement, IT, and other relevant stakeholders to align digital initiatives with overall business objectives.
Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
Execute and oversee the implementation of digital projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring the successful delivery of digital solutions.
Oversee the integration of digital tools with existing procurement systems.
Utilize data analytics to track and measure the impact of digital initiatives on procurement performance.
Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of digital tools and processes.
Provide training and support to procurement teams to enhance digital literacy.
Work with business users and IT to define requirements for enhancements or new functionality.
Document processes and provide training to business users when there is a change or new functionality introduced.
Participate in all procurement related audits as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Experience working in Oracle Cloud Procurement module a plus.
Experience and expertise with ERP tools (Oracle and SAP).
Experience in project management, specifically in leading digital transformation projects within procurement.
Familiarity with procurement processes, sourcing, and supply chain management.
Strong understanding of digital technologies relevant to procurement; e-procurement platforms, AI, and data analytics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
