Plan, organize, lead and control the project at Backend Development to successfully achieve all project targets in term of timeliness, quality and cost.In your new role you will:- Plans, organizes, and controls the project/ sub-projects with minor complexity (up to project classification class D), risk, impact and reach.- Manages a medium sized project team with members from multi functional groups.- Manages and controls the entire project life-cycle and ensures hand-over to sustaining function.- Organizes the activities and resources needed for the project to ensure timely release of each milestone.- Fully responsible for all operational decisions in the project and for the successful achievement of all project targets (time, quality, cost and budget)- Be the key communication interface (for project related matters), representing Back End to other Infineon Divisions (e.g. Business lines, Central Functions e.g. Finance, PTI, FE Fabs, etc.).- Forms and leads the project team and assigns responsibilities within project to Project Managers of sub-projects and Project Members.- Drives problem solving activities within the project using standard Infineon trouble shooting methodologies, e.g. 8D, 5 Whys, etc.- Continuously focuses on project quality, assesses progress and ensures that goals are met even in the face of challenges.- Identify and manage changes and adapts project approach if necessary.You are best equipped for this task if you have:- Masters / Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Semiconductor Technology, Microelectronics, Automation, Mechanical, Electrical, Physics, etc.).- Project Management Professional Certification, preferred.- At least 6 years of relevant working experience. Thereof 2 years of leading projects.- Solid project management knowledge in terms of project initiation, planning and closing including reporting and documentation- Good knowledge in semiconductor engineering and operation.- Good communication skills.- Good aptitude for collaboration, people management, negotiation and solution finding.- Capability to lead team to solve standard problem (using 8D, Is-Is Not, FMEA, etc).Melaka is our biggest production site wordwide with more than 7000 employees.**Driving decarbonization and digitalization.
