Air Liquide Global Export Materials (ALGEM) is the Global Supply Chain Platform of Air Liquide Group for electronic specialty materials and Industrial Merchant materials in APAC, managing more than 2,500 shipments a year for all Air Liquide Affiliates in the world.Operating from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with 3 antennas in Seoul, Shanghai and Vietnam, ALGEM manages the supply chains for globally and regionally traded materials (SiH4, NF3, CF4, etc.), covering mainly International logistics, assets management, Planning & Inventory for AL Affiliates.The Project Manager plays a key role in expanding ALGEM scope and supporting the affiliates to grow the business. She/He develops projects which bring value to the group in terms of safety, quality, reliability, and efficiency. In her/his mission, she/he will:Study, develop and support implementation of integration of affiliates' ESMs (Electronics Specialty Materials), including but not limited to overseas logistics from material sources to affiliate port.Study, develop and support implementation of source switch of logistics providers which will structurally improve ESMs supply chain competitiveness.Support the set up of logistics proposals to affiliates for both base business and new business.Drive Supply Chain Excellence via effective cost control & org design.Drive compliance in managing Freight Forwarders.Develop the digitization of AL Supply Chains via introduction & adoption of digital tools.Provide leadership and project management across cross-functional teams including Procurement, Supply Chain, and Commercial with respect to status, issues, risks, and project goals and objectives to ensure timely and effective completion of scope integration of business activities.In collaboration with the ALGEM Managing Director, research and identify Best-In-Class Supply Chain strategies, processes, and organizational structures to allow the organization to implement and maintain effective operations.Are you a MATCH?
The successful candidate needs to have the following abilities:Skilled in handling figures (including economics, costs impacts, P&L simulation, etc.)Ability to work efficiently in a very international environment with people coming from all around the world (China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Europe, US, etc.)Strong understanding of the business and suppliers market.
