The Protégé - Civil Engineering role provides hands-on experience in civil engineering, project management, and site supervision for the Pan Borneo Project in Sabah.
This opportunity is ideal for fresh graduates keen to build a career in construction and infrastructure development, offering exposure to real-world engineering challenges and solutions.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering tasks, ensuring project milestones are achieved.
Conduct site supervision and inspection to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Support the preparation of technical reports, documentation, and project updates for stakeholders.
Assist in monitoring project timelines and coordinating with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
Perform quality assurance checks on construction materials and methodologies.
Help resolve technical issues that arise on-site through analysis and collaboration with senior engineers.
Conduct research and provide input for the continuous improvement of project efficiency.
WORK ARRANGEMENT
Location: Various sites in Sabah (specific locations will depend on project assignments).
Contract: 8 months (January start date).
Working Days: 5 or 5.5 or 6 days a week (based on project requirements).
Working Hours: Standard site hours, with flexibility depending on project progress.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Good academic standing and a solid understanding of engineering fundamentals.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and other relevant engineering software.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn.
Willingness to travel and work at project sites across Sabah.
