As part of the CRRC Group's continuous commitment to Malaysia's railway industry, CRRC Rolling Stock Center (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is a sprawling 42-acre manufacturing base located in Batu Gajah, Perak Darul Ridzuan, providing a wide range of solutions such as production, welding, assembly, testing, overhaul, and refurbishment of railway systems including locomotives, MRT, EMU, LRT, and other forms of railway transport equipment.
The first phase of the project was completed in February 2015 with the capacity to produce 100 to 150 carriages and overhaul about 150 carriages annually.
