The Protégé - Quantity Surveyor will support the Group Contract and Procurement Division in key functions such as cost estimation, tender preparation, project cost control, and contract administration.
This role provides hands-on experience in managing construction project costs and processes, making it ideal for graduates passionate about quantity surveying and project management.
PRIMARY TASKS
Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets and bills of quantities (BOQ).
Support tendering processes, including evaluating bids and preparing documentation.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure accurate project cost control.
Assist in the preparation of contract documentation and variation orders.
Research construction materials, labor costs, and market trends.
Provide support in ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely project delivery within budget.
WORK ARRANGEMENT
Contract: 8 months, starting January.
Working Days: 5 days a week.
Working Hours: Flexible hours.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and measurement software.
Actively involved in university activities.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
