**Description:- **Commissioning Coordinator - PTW is required to work as part of the Project Commissioning Teamwho will perform the field operation of the project mechanical/Balance of Plant systems the 130MW Combined Cycle Gas Turbine In Kulim Hi Tech Park ("Project AURORA") Malaysia.**Qualification & Experience:- **- Minimum 10 years of project/construction/commissioning experiences gained in the Oil and Gas industry with relevant experience in managing work permit systems in greenfield construction/commissioning/startup projects.- Minimum requirement of a Diploma or preferably a Degree in electrical engineering or relevant technical equivalent.- Familiar with technical documentations and power plant practices- Excellent written and verbal English communication- Ability to work accurately and methodically under pressure and strict deadlines.- Strong demonstrable communication style and interpersonal skills, particularly theability to influence and negotiate both internally and externally with an open andinclusive style.- Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization withextremely tight timelines and aggressive goals.'**Duties**:- Commissioning Coordinator - PTW shall be capable of performing the following tasks:- Reporting directly into the Commissioning Manager, the Commissioning Coordinator(PTW) role is required primarily to coordinate the work permits on the project and tomanage the process of work authorization/permitting and of defining the permitconditions. Specifically, the role will be tasked to:- Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment byfollowing HES regulations and HES standards, policies and procedures.- Effectively integrate Permit-To-Work system into the project.- Assure project compliance with Permit-To-Work system.- Mentor, train and develop trainees and other personnel, as and when, assigned.- Check work permits for administrative items, such as if all required signatures arein place.- Review contractor work requests and ensure strict adherence to approval flow,timeframes, and other permitting requirements.- Ensure that expired work permits are closed, cancelled or renewed.- Support contractors to maintain compliance with the project procedures andstandards.- Advise, monitor and audit Permit-To-Work (PTW) activities.- Operate permit system in simultaneous areas of construction and commissioningactivities.- Conduct site inspections, particularly high-risk activities that should be checkeddaily for adherence to PTW requirements.- Ensure timely registration of permits to avoid delays in work.- Perform administrative tasks as delegated by the client or Management.- Working as part of a project team to provide deliverables and meet deadlines.**Mechanical Local operator Technician Soft Skills:- **- Able to speak, read and write in English.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Good communication skills.- Clear understanding of the PTW & LOTO and associated safety rules.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
