Pupillage

Job Description:
(1)Assist Master-in-Chamber and/or Legal Associate in handling corporate and litigation matters for Kuala Lumpur office.
(2)Compulsory to undergone and complete nine (9) months Pupillage programme with the Master-in-Chamber /Firm.
(3)Conduct legal research for corporate and litigation matters.
(4)Prepare related legal documents cause papers and correspondences for corporate and litigation matters.
(5)Attend court proceeding i.e. case management, mention, decision, hearing and trial when needed and necessary.
(6)Any other duties as may be reasonably expected and required by the Firm which are commensurate with the level of post.
Qualifications and Requirements:
•Possess a recognized Degree in Law (LLB) with CGPA of 3.00 or higher.
•Possess own transport.
•Good command of English and Bahasa Melayu, with the ability to write concisely and with clarity.
•Understand office etiquette & able to accept and adapt with the Firm's work culture.
•Expected personality traits: Organized and meticulous, detail-oriented, analytical, resourceful, have positive attitude, take initiative and able to pro-actively anticipate clients need.
•Willing to travel and able to attend to ad-hoc matters.
•Ability to keep composure in a fast paced, high demand, ever changing environment.
