Responsibilities:
·Assist in sourcing high-quality baby, kids andmothers related categories products.
·Liaise with existing suppliers and establishrelationships with new suppliers to ensure a steady supply of goods. Coordinate with suppliers onorder fulfilment, quality control, and any issues related to product defects ordelays.
·Assist in placing purchase orders based on stocklevels and sales forecasts to ensure sufficient product availability.
·Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and deliveryschedules to optimize procurement costs and maintain profitability.
·Monitor and track order deliveries to ensuretimely receipt of goods, minimizing stock shortages.
·Work with the warehouse team to ensure accurateinventory records are maintained.
·Research new products and trends in the babyretail industry to expand the store's product range.
·Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchasingrecords, including purchase orders, supplier contracts, and delivery schedules.
·Work closely with the operation, marketing, andlogistics teams to ensure the smooth flow of products from suppliers toshelves.
·Assist in any trade fair/ exhibition in terms ofoperations such as setting up, dismantling, managing stocks and liaise withsuppliers, and working during the trade fair/exhibition period.
Requirements:
·Diploma or Bachelor's degree in BusinessAdministration, Marketing or a related field.
·3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement,or supply chain management, preferably in a retail or baby product environment.
·Familiarity with purchasing procedures, vendormanagement, and negotiation.
·Strong communication and negotiation skills, withthe ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
·Attention to detail and strong organizationalskills for managing orders, contracts, and inventory levels.
