Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
Monitor and follow up on import shipments and local delivery to warehouse to ensure timely clearance of shipment/cargo.
Ensure accuracy and timely preparation of commercial and shipping documentation (Packing List, Delivery Order, Invoice, certificate of origin, bill of lading, etc.)
for import shipment with overseas suppliers.
Liaise and deal with freight forwarders, transporters, suppliers/customs, etc., to achieve an efficient delivery process.
Release material to forwarding agents by issuing the Invoice/Delivery Order.
Liaise with other departments such as Store, Production Planner, Purchaser, and Sales regarding the delivery date of raw materials.
Prepare labels for store personnel to stick on incoming materials.
Prepare Supplier Halal certificate for incoming materials for the sales team.
Arrange goods delivery by liaising with lorry drivers/transports to schedule delivery for 20ft/40ft containers.
Prepare/update shipping-related reports and division cost reports.
Perform document filing.
Take up any job function or duties as assigned by management from time to time.
Job Requirements
Minimum diploma in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in purchasing or shipping preferred.
Basic knowledge of shipping and logistics procedures.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic inventory software (SAP/NAV ERP).
Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and adapt to changing demands.
Flexibility to work extra hours when required.
