Purchasing Assistant

**Requirements**:**_ Education_**Diploma/Degree holder from recognized University / College in any discipline.**_ Working Experience_**Minimum 2 years working experience in related field.**_ Skills_**- At least two years of experience in a purchasing position- In-depth knowledge of purchasing functions, inventory and supply management systems- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills- Ability to work with mínimal supervision- Strong organizational skills, a good understanding of sourcing and the ability to maintain vendor relationships- Ability to use purchasing software**Responsibilities**:- Coordinate purchasing activities of the company- Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs- Track orders and ensure timely delivery- Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices- Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts- Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders- Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition- Source for suppliers and materials and request of quotations.- Liaise with suppliers for all quality issue.
