Job Responsibilities
Researching and comparing suppliers, goods, and services with tabulation table and negotiation process.
Selecting the most suitable suppliers in terms of reliability, product quality, and cost-efficiency.
Updating the Cost Controller (Store) and Department Head concerning any price increases and the effect on production/operation cost for DML (Daily Market List).
Updating the DML (Daily Market List) prices changes for regular price and periodically checking stored items (regular purchases and high consumption).
Keeping the Department Head informed of new products available in the market, discontinued products, possible shortages, and cost-saving substitutes.
Planning and arranging orders to be delivered as scheduled.
Ordering for DML (Daily Market List) for all outlets.
Following up on all items ordered and undelivered as scheduled.
Preparing Purchase Orders for Store Items, DML, direct issue & repair requisition.
Emailing all Purchase Orders to vendors and following up for delivery arrangements.
Scanning and filing for Tender documents, Purchase Orders, and Purchase Requisitions.
Sourcing and inviting potential new vendors and registering with OVR (Online Vendor Registration).
Evaluating quotations from vendors and negotiating for the best price.
Performing other responsibilities as assigned by superior or management from time to time.
Assisting in the tender process from invitation until the awarding of tender for DML (dry & wet items) for every three months or tender duration required.
Job Requirements
SPM or Diploma in Business related or equivalent.
1-3 years relevant working experience in the Hospitality industry.#J-18808-Ljbffr
