As a Purchasing officer is responsible for overseeing the procurement process and managing the acquisition of goods and services for the company. This role involves identifying suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to meet organizational needs. The Purchasing Coordinator will collaborate with various departments to understand their requirements and develop effective procurement strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. What will you be expected to do? Search available products/ suppliers to find the best combination of quality, price and deliveryDevelop purchasing strategies and identify buying trends to keep the business profitableCompare and evaluate offers from supplierNegotiate term of pricing/ agreementReview and evaluate the performance of the suppliersFollow up order delivery status and ensure on time deliveryBackup purchaser when necessaryCarry out all necessary purchasing activities.Any tasks assigned by Superior from time to time What we are looking for? You have proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain managementYou would have strong negotiation & effective communication skillsYou would have minimum 2 years' experience in related fieldsYou are able to understand and communicate well with mandarin-speaking customers.You have great time management in multi-tasking and managing additional projectsYou are a fast learner, independent worker, and a joyful team member Work Location 46050 Petaling Jaya, Selangor Let's connect on Social Media! ??
