Job Responsibilities: Purchase materials economically at the lowest cost consistent with quality and service requiredCollate purchase orders and purchase requisitions in order to order materials, goods and suppliesCheck price and do a comparisonSend Purchase Order to the suppliersFollowing up with vendors on shipment and delivery , to confirm or change ordersInteract with the suppliers on a day to day basisCommunication with planner, sales support, store for orderingTrack the status of any orders and ensure timely deliveryDeal with non supplied, under orders, over orders and damaged goodsLiaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good conditionEnsure that any delivery order & update goods received.
