Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Founded in 1984 in Singapore, Fitson specializes in producing high quality baby and mother care products for well-established international baby brands. Fitson provides a full scope of services which encompasses the initial stages of design conceptualization, tool design & fabrication, product innovation, manufacturing to complete packaging and delivery.What do you need do in this role:To source and procure for new products developments and existing products.To forecast, plan, execute, monitor deliveries and control the purchasing activities and inventory level according to the company policy and procedure.To liaise with production planner and stores regarding material ordering, delivery and plan and prepare Bill of Materials before issuance of Purchase orders.To study and analyze the purchasing trend to ensure that it contributes continue saving to the company.Suppliers' negotiation in services, performance, delivery, quality, payment term, service and gain cost effective in purchasing.To initiate cost reduction activities through negotiation with existing suppliers and to source for new suppliers.To address and resolve situation such as supply chain shortages, allocations, material discrepancies and to ensure contingency plan or alternate sources of supply is available.Maintain and update the records of Approved Vendor Lists. To perform vendor visit and audit as well as audit report to ensure suppliers are perform the requirements.Evaluate suppliers' performance periodically to ensure the goods/service provided are accordance to standard or specifications.To perform indirect purchasing including premium goods, services, sub-contractors for facilities and maintenance.Prepare monthly, yearly and ad-hoc report when required. Maintain accurate supplier price book in system and review system on regular basis.To implementation and monitor purchasing policies and procedures for improvement and detect possible problems.Liaise with all departments effectively to support company's operations and objective.Liaise with vendors including sub-contractors on IMS requirements.Liaise with external parties when emergency situation occurs.Control & coordination ERP implementation.What do you need to have to be successful in this role:Candidate must possess at least a STPM / Diploma / Degree or equivalent.Required skill(s): MS Excel, MS Office, MS Powerpoint.At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.Applicants must be willing to work in Senai.Good Written & Verbal communication in English, able to speak in Mandarin is an added advantage.Knowledge of ISO is an added advantage.Able to multitask & work overtime when required.What are the benefits waiting for you:Attractive remuneration and package will commensurate with experience and qualification.An attractive compensation package.Fair work-life balance - 5 working days.Opportunities for growth and advancement awaits the successful candidate.Are you ready to make that career shift & grow a great portfolio with us?
