Job Responsibilities:Coordinate and manage the Import process for goods and materials for the company.
Source, select, and negotiate with suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery to obtain the best value for goods, materials and services, ensuring alignment with required timelines.
Oversee the purchasing process from purchase requisition to purchase orders and delivery, ensuring timely availability of all necessary goods and materials.
Coordinate with suppliers regarding delivery issues, non-conforming parts, and warranty claims.
Follow up on goods and materials receipt discrepancy reports, process claims with suppliers and resolve any invoice discrepancies.
Prepare and manage all necessary documentation for the import process and maintain systematic and comprehensive records of the department activities for management decisions.
Collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and other relevant parties or authorities.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Establish and maintain positive relationships and rapport with key suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance and evaluate the quality of purchased products and services.
Job Requirements:Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies/ Supply Chain/ Engineering or any related field.
Possess at least 2-3 years of experience in procurement within the Manufacturing or Trading Industry, with a background in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Inventory, or Material Management.
Experience in contract management and a strong understanding of procurement and commercial contracts.
Being able to communicate in Mandarin will be an added advantage, as the role requires the candidate to deal with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and suppliers.
Salary offered will be commensurate with the candidate's relevant experience.
5-day work week (Monday to Friday).
