Purchasing Executive

**Job Responsibility****Management and Administrative Functions**- Plan, direct and manages the procurement activities of organization.- Develop, implement and monitor KPIs for team members including producing reports that evidence of KPI perspective results.- Responsible for achieving lowest Total End Cost for general procurement commodity areas. This will encompass sourcing strategies and recommendations for general procurement commodities both for new suppliers, and for improving existing arrangements.- Managing and optimizing supplier performance, including continuous improvement, innovations, obsolescence and reduction in total cost of ownership.- Maintains and promotes sound relationships with suppliers and the business community.- Identification and selection of vendors to achieve price reductions without compromising commodity quality or service.**Supervision, Inspection and Daily Routine as Per Policies, Procedures and SOPs.**- Verifies purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to system; clarifying unclear items.- Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items; obtaining approval from requisitioning department.- Manage inventory level and ensure the target level is meet but no overstock.- To maintain complete updated purchasing records / data & pricing in the system.- Provides purchasing planning and control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends**JOB REQUIREMENTS**- Degree in Business Administration or a recognized professional qualification in a relevant discipline.- Minimum of 2 years of procurement experience and hospital or healthcare setting is and added advantage.**Department of Human Resource****HOSPITAL UNIVERSITI TUNKU ABDUL RAHMAN****Jalan Hospital, 31900 Kampar, Perak****Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Free parking- Maternity leave- Parental leave- Professional developmentAbility to commute/relocate:- Kampar: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)**Education**:- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (required)Application Deadline: 06/30/2023
