Job Description : 1.Responsible for day-to-day purchasing and sourcing activities for raw materials, services, equipment, machinery, and fixed assets to generate cost savings for both local and overseas suppliers.
2.Review daily order movements and negotiate with vendors to meet company requirements.
3.Request quotations from suppliers, compare prices, and compile price comparison worksheets to inform purchasing decisions.
4.Prepare and process all purchase orders (PO) according to specified requirements and standards.
5.Oversee the entire purchasing process, including PO management, delivery follow-up, shipping document updates, and related tasks.
6.Regularly monitor stock inventory levels and identify purchasing needs to ensure timely replenishment of both international and domestic orders.
7.Build strong, long-term relationships with existing suppliers for cost reduction and quality control, and perform regular performance reviews to drive continuous improvement.
8.Maintain updated records of invoices, contracts, ensuring that no Purchase Order (PO) is missed.
9.Coordinate with forwarding agents regarding shipment status and schedules, and liaise with warehouse staff to ensure that all products arrive in good condition.
10.Support cost-saving initiatives by comparing and negotiating for better material quality at the lowest cost.
11.Ensure all purchases meet food safety standards and regulations. Check the quality of received products and resolve any issues with suppliers.
12.Keep accurate records of all purchases and supplier agreements. Provide reports on purchasing activities and supplier performance.
13.Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by Management as needed.
Requirements:
1.Experience in food and beverage purchasing, especially for central kitchens or large operations.
2.Strong negotiation and communication skills.
3.Ability to manage budgets and work with suppliers to control costs.
4.Good knowledge of food safety regulations.
5.Proficiency in MS Excel, with the ability to analyse data and manage reports.
6.Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field is a plus.
7.Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is required for liaising with Chinese suppliers.
