Job DescriptionManage the end-to-end process of overseas procurement, including sourcing, negotiating, purchasing, and coordinating with international suppliers.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers in global markets, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and reliability.
Place orders and follow up to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers in Chinese-speaking regions, ensuring smooth communication and long-term partnerships.
Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company.
Conduct business communication inChinese(Mandarin or Cantonese, depending on the region) for effective supplier coordination and negotiations.
Translate purchase orders, contracts, and other documents as needed.
Analyze market trends, pricing, and product availability to identify opportunities for cost savings or quality improvements.
Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement forecasts.
Travel to supplier sites and international trade fairs for face-to-face meetings, inspections, and to build supplier networks.
Monitor and evaluate suppliers' performance through on-site visits.
Ensure that all overseas purchases comply with international trade regulations, company policies, and sustainability practices.
Maintain accurate records of all transactions and contracts related to international purchasing.
Job RequirementsFluent in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese), both written and spoken. Proficiency in English is also required.
Proven experience in international procurement or purchasing, ideally in a related industry.
Experience working with overseas suppliers, particularly in Chinese-speaking regions, is highly preferred.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex supplier relationships.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good understanding of international trade regulations and logistics.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to travel internationally on a regular basis to meet suppliers, attend trade shows, and oversee procurement operations.
