Job Responsibilities:Responsible for sourcing, developing, validating and communicating for local and overseas procurement.
Monitor, plan and purchase the products required to ensure sufficient stock for production requirements.
To source, compile, negotiate and evaluate the prices, specifications and terms of the products to identify the optimal decision for purchase.
To review and update existing and new products cost and quality to recommend opportunities for cost optimization.
Responsible for the entire material purchasing cycle, follow up deliveries and ensure prompt delivery of goods.
Ensure Purchasing documents are properly filed on time and for easy retrieval.
Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure that accurate stock quantity levels are always maintained.
To perform inventory or stock count monthly or as required.
Undertake other special assignments assigned by Top Management.
Requirements:Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
Positive attitude, self-motivated, responsible and able to work within deadlines.
Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in any field.
At least 1-2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
We are looking for someone who is fluent in Mandarin as the role requires the candidate to deal with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.
Applicants must be willing to work in Kapar, Selangor.
