We as a growth oriented market leader invite you to join us on our journey from good to great!**Primary Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned**:- Support adherence of global WATER /IA sourcing strategy, i.e. as the optimal owner for the procure-to-pay purchasing work- Support all negotiations for frame contracts with main suppliers.- Identify and approve regional suppliers with lower cost base to support global WATER/IA positions.- Align with and support global WATER/IA positions.- Combine regional and technical knowledge of WATER sub-commodities with commercial procurement experience.- Contribute to simplification and optimization of sourcing processes as needed.- Overall responsibility of purchasing spends (direct and indirect) for WATER/IA plants in Norma Product Group (which is not managed / controlled by Global - Commodity Management)- Management and negotiation of WATER defined Norma Product Group spend- Responsible for managing / driving the LCC/BCC activities in MALAYSIA- Management and reporting of purchasing KPI's for the WATER plants- Target costing for new products / projects- Supplier escalation and operative purchasing- Functional and direct manager for plant MRO buyers- Executing and support to the overarching Sourcing / Commodity Strategies- Participate in weekly commodity meeting for reporting and sharing best practices.- Monitor supplier quality and logistic issues and escalate if necessary- Participate in cross-functional team activities and identify local cost-saving ideas- Interface to Global Purchasing function- And any others duty assigns by Plant Manager or Sourcing commodity Director.Contact for this position: MARCUS CHANNORMA Products Malaysia Sdn Bhd4 & 6 Persiaran Perusahaan Kledang Utara 1/3,Taman Perindustrian Chandan Raya,31450 Menglembu, Perak, Malaysia
