Location Key Responsibilities Ensures that the goods and services procured are of reasonable quality in relation to the procured price. Ensures that the delivery of goods and services are within the agreed time frame. Ensures that the company's vision, mission and values are constantly inculcated to form the culture of the organization. Maintains good working relationship with internal customers and suppliers. Maintains proper and orderly filing system to facilitate retrieval. Conducts adhoc inspection of goods and services delivered to ensure the right quality and quantity received. Assumes any other duties that may be assigned from time to time. Ensures that the Suppliers delivery system conforms to our expectations in terms of standards, quality and timeliness. Develops a networking strategy with industry peers and supply chains so that BTSHCC can benefit from a competitive market price. Ensures that the company's vision, mission and values are constantly inculcated to form the culture of the organization. Continuously network with industry peers for information sharing and update on product and services. Continually reviews staff performance with a view of enhancing human capital. Continuously explores avenues to improve the processes in user departments with a view of enhancing revenue and reducing cost. Continuously explores the processes to improve the quality of work and enhancing the purchasing work cycle. Ensures statutory requirements pertaining to accountable document filing and retrieval is strictly adhered to. Ensures all accountable documents are duly signed by authorized signatories. Conducts adhoc inspection of goods and services delivered to ensure the right quality and quantity received. Ensures that the tender processes are duly executed and that the tenders conform to the tender conditions. Authorize urgent/adhoc purchases to resolve issues and to support operational departments which may warrant immediate purchase at market place or using the normal supply chain. Manages contracts to avoid any over-lap and coordinate with user departments for renewal of tender. Human Resource Responsibilities Work with Human Resource Department for any necessary training for staff development. Maintaining up to date staff records and approving leave requests considering business requirement Coaching, counseling and disciplining staff, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance · Source and develop new potential supplier for economical procurement.
· Constantly conduct market survey to ensure Hotel getting the right goods for the right prices
Occupational Health and Safety Responsibilities Ensure staff work area are safe Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures Overall, to perform duties common to Purchasing Manager and other duties as may be assigned.
