About the roleWe are seeking a Purchasing Officer to join our team at GRAND PACIFIC F&B SDN.
BHD.
in Central Park, Damansara Aliff, Johor Bahru.
This full-time position is responsible for managing the procurement of materials, goods and services required for our operations.
As a key member of our Procurement & Compliance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our business.
What you'll be doing
Perform items or suppliers sourcing.
Build alliance with key suppliers for effective cost and purchasing strategies.
Responsible for the ongoing purchasing and sourcing activities that could generate more cost saving for the company.
Coordinate with between department on purchase requisition, items delivery, receiving and storage.
Close monitor on delivery schedule and ensure items on time delivery.
Ensure the purchased item quality and coordinate with supplier on any goods rejection and return.
Perform necessary system entry and updates for related procurement and delivery transactions.
To alias with Account Department on processing invoices for billing purpose.
Participate in stock arrangement and monthly stock take.
Maintain of information records and document filing.
To assist and carry out any other duties as and when assigned by superior.
What we're looking for
STPM/ Diploma/ Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales & Marketing or equivalent; Fresh Graduate are encouraged to apply
Literacy in Computer Skills/ Microsoft Office
Able to communicate Mandarin will be an advantage
