Purchasing Project Manager

Location:Gurun (frequent travel when required)
Mission:Representing Purchasing to ensure production plan and execution are meeting the business target.
Resolve all GPSQ issues that may arise during production and in project/ramp up phase for flawless launch.
Key Responsibilities:Support cross-functional teams to ensure no supply interruption from suppliers to meet the production requirement.
Lead any liquidated damage charged to the suppliers due to quality issues and supply downtime.
Work closely with other departments, such as production, logistics, and finance, to ensure that purchasing decisions support overall business operations.
Manage supply/development crisis at supplier end to recover delays caused in project/ramp up.
Support SCM in overseeing the flow of goods from suppliers to the plant, ensuring timely delivery and addressing any issues.
Support any cost reduction activities involving suppliers and the manufacturing team when required.
Main Activities:Daily and weekly reporting to Purchasing leadership on production results and achievements, and any issues that arise.
Ensure supplier readiness and anticipate any supplier issues to support production requirements.
Qualifications:6 to 8 years of Automotive Experience in Project Management, Development, Localization, Strategic Sourcing with OEM & Tier 1 suppliers.
Preferred:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, experienced in automotive product development processes.#J-18808-Ljbffr
