Join us on our journey to #ForeverCaring as a Purchasing Support Associate and you won't either.**About Role**As a** Purchasing Support Associate** in our new **APAC **Global Business Services **Centre** (GBS)**, you will have an opportunity to play a role in driving compliance and setting the standard for accuracy and governance. The Gatekeeper role will support the Purchasing Support Team Leader delivering excellence by providing quality support to our stakeholders, whilst ensuring quality, cost competitiveness, compliance and company purchasing guidance.Your key responsibilities will include:- Work closely with Global Procurement, Business Stakeholders, suppliers and Finance Department- Purchasing support in line with the Purchasing Policy supporting the business obtaining 3 competitive vendor quotes (less than 100K) when required- Support the development and maintenance of Catalogues, in line with supplier contracts- Understand all policies and procedures of the P2P area- Understand the E2E purchase process (requisitions, PO´s, Invoice reconciliations, contracts)- Understanding of automation to automate the repetitive tasks- Process knowledge and improvements- Engaging with Procurement (large value - more than 100K)- Global controls for Vendor Changes (e.g. - bank account verification) Compliance to company´s policies and procedures- Working with stakeholders to improve PR/PO accuracy- Recommendation of using Preferred Supplier- Ensuring new vendor requests are accurate and are challenged in line with the PSL- Ensure Customer Satisfaction (KPI/survey)- Support Master Data Management on the cleansing of vendor (indirect)In this role you will be collaborating with various stakeholders across the business including our GBS teams in Lisbon and Bogota, corporate and market teams as well as external parties such as auditors and authorities.Our APAC GBS supports a hybrid working approach. You will be supporting markets in multiple time zones and some flexibility around working hours will be needed.You will be joining a newly formed Global Business Services team, with opportunities to grow, within Purchase to Pay or wider finance functions.**About You**To be successful in this role you will have:- 1 - 2 years' experience- Knowledge of Purchasing and Catalogue Maintenance- Experience working on SAP is valuable- Knowledge in Microsoft Excel- Previous experience on a Shared Services environment is highly desirable- Problem solving mindset- Good communication skills- Attention to details- Customer driven and constructive**Language**- Good written and spoken English is essential- A proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Korean and/or Thai as well as other Asian languages will be an advantage**Qualifications/Education**- Finance qualification is preferred but not mandatoryOur ambitions will bring the very best out in you.
