Join our client's dynamic team as a Junior Software Quality Analyst Automation Tester and contribute to ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. In this role, you'll work closely with experienced professionals to automate testing processes and improve our software development practices.As a Software Quality Analyst Automation Tester, your responsibilities will include:- **Test Planning and Strategy**:Assist in creating test plans and strategies, collaborating with senior testers and developers to identify areas suitable for automation.- **Test Automation**:Develop and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript & Python, execute automated test cases, report defects, and optimize test scripts.- **Manual Testing**:Perform manual testing when necessary, especially for areas not covered by automation, and explore automation possibilities for manual test cases.- **Defect Reporting**:Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking systems.- **Regression Testing**:Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains intact after changes.- **Collaboration**:Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback.- **Documentation**:Document test cases and monitor test results using tools like TestRail.- **Continuous Learning**:Stay updated with testing methodology and automation tools, providing feedback for necessary training to upskill team members.- **Problem Solving**:Solve identified issues through problem-solving methodologies, collaborate with other departments to resolve issues, and share learnings with the team.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Technology, or Software Engineering.- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.** Fresh graduates with exceptional self-starter competencies will also be considered.**:- **Experience in the Financial Services and Technology sectors** is an added advantage.- Proficiency in test automation script languages such as **Python, Java**, etc.- Basic to intermediate understanding of **bug lifecycle, testing methodology, and Agile/DevOps processes**.- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, preferably in English.- Exposure to working in an agile environment is beneficial.- Attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and teamwork.- ISTQB or similar test certification is a plus.
