Role PurposeTo perform regulatory function as delegated by authority on oversight of continuing airworthiness of every aircraft, to recommend to CAAM for issuance and renewal of MAB fleet of aircraft Certificate of Airworthiness at the most cost-effective and efficient manner, to manage/supervise with various departments on ensuring timely issuance/renewal of C of A of each aircraft.
Key AccountabilityTo be approved by CAAM under MCAR Regulation 33 and authorized as per Civil Aviation Directives 6802 Chapter 6.1 to carry out airworthiness reviews and issue Airworthiness Review Report.
To review and verify accomplishment of CAMO continuing airworthiness activities in accordance with Company policy and Malaysian Civil Aviation Regulations 2016.
To ensure aircraft maintenance had been accomplished by approved MRO, and all Aircraft Maintenance Program tasks were accomplished diligently.
To issue memo to CAAM to support an AOG aircraft to obtain a Permit to Fly with Condition; to enable aircraft to test flight.
To ensure airworthiness and safety/safe flight of assigned aircraft while maintaining cost effectiveness.
Establish, update and ensure the operational manual; policy and procedures adheres to Company's policy and CAAM's regulations and requirements.
Qualifications & Working ExperienceDegree in Engineering with 2 years of working experience.
Diploma in any field with 4 years of working experience.
Skills & KnowledgeExpert knowledge of all safety requirements, and CAAM's regulations and requirements.
Experience and having an approved airframe or avionics Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence (AMEL).
Possess innovative thinking to participate in cross-functional investigation and projects.
Positive work attitude, and a great team player to implement continuous improvement program.
Key ChallengesEnsure MAB fleet are airworthy and valid for revenue flights.
