Responsibilities:Responsible to ensure that all products are compliance with customer's requirement and product specification.
Set improvement plan for overall quality assurance activities.
Monitor conformance of supplied materials to specification.
Handle customer complaints and ensure the corrective action is done effectively.
Control of non-conformance goods.
Involve in new product development, corrective and preventive action with related department.
Monitor conformance of new product to customer specification.
Ensure all testing equipment are properly protected and maintained, and carry out internal and external calibration activities.
Ensure the relevant chemical and microbiological tests are carried out according to schedule.
Prepare the relevant compliance letter upon customer request.
Ensure all approved samples are kept properly.
Monitor and report the performance on quality to the department head with analysis of the source of contributing factors on the achievement or failure.
Responsible for yearly mock recall exercise.
Other minor or ad-hoc activities or functions.
Job Requirements:Diploma or above in related field.
Minimum 3 – 5 years experience in QA department of plastic manufacturing.
Good in using QC measuring tools and SPC.
Experience in ISO 22000, EMS & OHSAS Management System will be an added advantage.
Familiar with plastic packaging products and injection molding processes is an added advantage.
Leadership style and interpersonal skills suitable for directing, training and motivating subordinate staff.
Computer literate and able to work under pressure.
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia & English (Mandarin will be an added advantage).
