Position Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Manager
Location: Bandar Baru Bangi
Working Days/ Hours:Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm / Saturday, 8am-12:30pm
Position Summary:
The primary function of this position is overseeing the quality control processes in production and ensuring that products or services meet established standards of quality, reliability, and performance.
Work closely with various departments to ensure compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and industry regulations.
Job Description:
Establish quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards and ensure adherence to them.
Develop and maintain quality management systems (QMS) that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, IATF).
Manage and coordinate QA activities to ensure products meet specified quality and compliance standards.
Monitor internal and external cost of quality and translate it to improvements activities and control plan.
Responsible for enhancing the company-wide Quality cost to be at a minimum.
Monitor the production processes and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
Lead quality audits, inspections, and testing of products or services.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Develop training programs for QA staff to enhance quality control skills and knowledge.
Address customer complaints and manage product recalls or adjustments as necessary.
Analyze customer feedback and implement changes to improve satisfaction and reduce quality issues.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in a QA role, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial position.
Must be fluent in English and able to speak Mandarin.
Ability to speak Japanese is an added advantage.
Familiar and experience with IATF requirements.
Proven experience in quality management systems and methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings effectively.
Great attention to detail and a results-driven approach by data analysis.
