Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quality assurance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations, quality standards, and customer expectations, including HACCP, GMP, Halal, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and other quality standards practiced by the organization.
Lead the QAQC team; supervise and mentor a team of quality assurance executives and quality control officers, ensuring all team members are trained on the latest food safety protocols and quality control measures.
Validate documentation systems, inspections, and internal audits of production processes, raw materials, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements; while working with external auditors to ensure certifications are maintained.
Collaborate with production, supply chain, and research and development teams to establish and maintain quality control measures throughout the product life cycle, from sourcing to distribution.
Provide ongoing training and coaching to various plant personnel on food safety and quality standards.
Ensure all timely and consistent corrective and preventive measures are well addressed and implemented for in-process non-conformance, customer complaints, and auditing (internal & external) with appropriate and quick responses to address root causes and proper solutions. Follow up and update management on the progress and effectiveness of the action plan on a timely basis.

Qualifications:
Degree in Food Science/Technology or relevant field.
Minimum 1-2 years working experience in a food manufacturing environment.
Knowledgeable and experienced in handling and managing food safety standards & certificates (ISO 22000, ISO 9001, HACCP, HALAL, GMP, MESTI) and/or other standards mandated by the Government.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, passionate about Food Safety & Quality.
Able to manage food quality standards, food safety standards, food safety procedures, and government regulatory matters (Malaysia & overseas market requirements).#J-18808-Ljbffr
