Assist in TQM and production operation to drive improvement in manufacturing efficiencies by utilising continuous improvement techniques.
Be responsible for managing and leading continuous improvement projects, such as Print Standardization for Offset (PSO) - ISO 12647, Fogra (Color Management System) and any other improvement projects.
Responsible in Root Cause Analysis, capable of identifying root causes of problems & developing effective solutions.
Strong critical thinking skills to assess situations, evaluate data & make data-driven decisions.
Carry responsibility for the running of the company's Quality Management System (GP).
Develop, maintain, and implement quality assurance SOPs and practices.
Perform Quality Inspection for Incoming material in accordance with established specifications and Certificate of Analysis (COA).
Conduct Qualification testing of products and release activities in the operation, maintain quality records and develop test/inspection SOPs.
Identify, analyze, and improve upon existing business processes within the organization for optimization and to meet new quotas or standards of quality.
Coordinate suppliers and verify quality standards in accordance with the requirements of the company.
Perform regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Investigate and report on customer complaints.
Provide training on Quality Systems/Test Methods as required.
Assist lead auditor in running the company's ISO 9001, 14298, 27001, 22301, 12647-2 internal and external audits.
Perform other job duties as assigned.
Job Requirement:
Possess at least a Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Quality, Printing Production Process) or any related disciplines.
Experience in ISO 9001 Quality Management System, auditing, and TQM programs.
Knowledge in ISO 12647-2/7 (PSO) will be an added advantage.
Several years of experience in the printing industry.
Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Basic knowledge and skill of MS Office.
Experience in Process Improvement Methodologies and Tools such as Lean 6 Sigma, Kaizen, TQM, 5S, and VSM.#J-18808-Ljbffr
