**Job summary**:To monitors the quality of incoming and outgoing products or materials for a company. Conducting tests, analyzing measurements, and overseeing production processes.**Responsibilities and Authorities**:- Inspects and approves incoming materials by confirming specification, conducting visual and measurement tests and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.- Inspects in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating required adjustments to production to productions supervisor.- Approves finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work.- Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizes re-work and waste and inputs data into quality database.- Keeps measurements equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements and calling for repairs. - Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.- Updates job knowledge by participant in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.- Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.- Participation in continuous improvement programs such as 5S program, yield improvement projects etc.- Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.- The above responsibilities and authorities and are not exhaustive and additional responsibilities and authorities may be added from time to time._**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM1,800.00 per month**Benefits**:- Maternity leave- Opportunities for promotion- Parental leaveSchedule:- Day shift- Night shiftSupplemental pay types:- Overtime pay
