Qa/Qc Manager (Food Manufacturer)

We are representing our client, a fresh food manufacturer/central kitchen providing fresh food and ready-to-eat meals for the F&B and retail industry.
In line with their ongoing business expansion, our client is in search of aQA/QC Managerto oversee the QA and QC department at their new facility located inBalakong, Selangor.
Main Responsibilities
To lead the company's Quality Assurance & Quality Control Department in establishing & implementing the standards of quality control procedures and protocols to comply with internal & external certification requirements.
To analyze, evaluate & qualify daily production standards, new product-trial run procedures by collecting daily production data, quality control reports, product specifications and other related data to production QA/QC issues.
To lead in FSSC 22000 application audit, HACCP, Halal Jakim audit, customer compliance audit and conduct audits on supplier factories.
To manage and handle the documentation with regards to all QA/QC related applications such as HACCP, Halal Jakim, GMP, FSSC 22000 and other food safety standards implemented by the company.
To monitor and lead the QA/QC team in quality inspection for samples from raw materials, packaging materials, in-process products and finished products.
To handle and guide the team in corrective action and preventive action of customer complaints and non-conformance issues raised during work processes, internal & external audits.
Oversee & monitor production productivity, efficiency, hygiene standards, QA/QC work schedule and building pest control.
Provide leadership, training & supervision in kitchen hygiene SOP and ensure the company is staying current on laws and regulations compliance, overseeing the quality and proper usage of all food ingredients.
Work closely with other departments and suppliers on product quality issues to ensure the quality of raw material is being monitored & provide solutions on quality improvement where applicable.
Any other duties as assigned by superior/management from time to time.
Job Requirements
Minimum Diploma/Degree holder.
Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC role in the food manufacturing industry
Strong knowledge of quality management systems and quality control best practices.
Experience and knowledge in Hazard, HACCP, ISO, FSSC 22000 certification.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
