Quality Assurance & Control (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
As the Senior Quality Assurance Manager at Gourmet Ingredients, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. You will oversee the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of our quality systems, while also mentoring junior team members. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance Systems ManagementDevelop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to comply with FSSC 22000, ISO, HACCP, and HALAL requirements.
Conduct regular audits (internal and external) to ensure compliance with certifications and regulations.
Lead the resolution of non-conformities by implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Product Quality ControlOversee daily quality control checks during production, packaging, and shipping to ensure adherence to product specifications.
Conduct root cause analysis for product quality issues and lead process improvements.
Review and approve product formulations, specifications, and labels for compliance.
Documentation and ReportingMaintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for audits and regulatory purposes.
Prepare monthly quality performance reports and present key findings to management.
Mentor and guide QA team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Train production staff on quality standards and best practices.
Customer and Supplier Quality ManagementAddress customer complaints by investigating issues and providing timely resolutions.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure raw material quality standards are met.
Sustainability and ESG ComplianceChampion sustainable practices in production and packaging to align with ESG goals.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Audit Success Rate:Achieve 100% compliance in all internal and external audits.
Customer Complaints:Reduce complaints related to product quality by 20% annually.
CAPA Closure Rate:Achieve 95% on-time closure for corrective and preventive actions.
QA Process Efficiency:Improve the cycle time for quality checks by 10%.
Team Development:Conduct at least 3 training sessions annually for QA staff.
Key Role Objectives:
Ensure all products meet local and international food safety standards.
Proactively identify quality risks and implement effective mitigations.
Foster a culture of quality awareness across the organization.

License/Certification:
ISO 22000 / HACCP / FSC 22000 auditor training certificate (Required)
