QA / QC Manager - Group (Multiple Locations)Position can be based @ Ipoh, Perak or Lukut, Negeri Sembilan
Job Summary:
Oversees quality assurance and control activities, ensuring products meet standard, driving continuous improvement, and managing regulatory compliance.
Quality Assurance & Control:Ensuring that quality objectives and product performance are consistently met through monitoring and improvement efforts.
Team Leadership:Leading and managing the QA/QC team to ensure high performance and professional development.
Continuous Improvement:Driving initiative to enhance product safety, quality and operational efficiency.
Audit Oversight:Overseeing internal & external audits to assess quality systems and identify areas for improvement.
Documentation:Developing and maintaining a systematic approach for SOPs, records, and product specifications.
Corrective and Preventive Actions:Ensuring timely and effective implementation for corrective and preventive actions.
Supplier Management:Evaluating and approving supplier and conducting regular audits.
Customer Relations:Serving as the primary point of contact for quality related inquiries.
Training & Education:Developing and conducting training programs on quality assurance, quality control, food safety, and regulatory requirements (GMP, HACCP, FSSC 2000).
Stakeholder Collaboration:Working with stakeholders across the plant to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance.
Process Control:Managing process control and risk management.
Contingency Planning:Developing and implementing contingency plans.
Assigning New Responsibility:From time to time by management.
Key Experiences:
Education:A minimum bachelor's degree in animal science, veterinary medicine, food science, or a related field.
Experience:At least 5 years of experience in quality management roles, preferably within the agriculture, poultry farming, or manufacturing industry.
Knowledge:A strong understanding of poultry production processes, biosecurity measures, and food safety regulations.
Certification:Experience with FSSC 22000, Halal, My Gap, GMP, HACCP, and halal certifications.
Skills:Attention to details, commitment to quality and safety, strong problem-solving, decision-making, and crisis management skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
