Qaqc Engineer

What you'll be doing Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control plans for construction projectsConduct regular site inspections to monitor and evaluate the quality of work performedIdentify and address any non-conformances or quality issues, and implement corrective actionsReview and approve construction drawings, specifications, and submittalsLiaise with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure adherence to quality standardsMaintain comprehensive documentation and records of quality-related activitiesProvide training and guidance to project team members on quality best practicesCollaborate with the wider construction team to continuously improve quality processes and proceduresWhat we're looking for Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience as a QAQC Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industryThorough understanding of construction quality standards, regulations, and best practicesProficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentsStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentFamiliarity with construction materials, methods, and equipment
