What is the role about?
Responsible for carrying out sampling and analysis on raw materials, packaging materials, in-process products, and finished products according to the defined sampling plan, investigation, and troubleshooting.
To ensure adherence to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Health & Safety (HSE), and Quality practices set in the laboratory and workplace.
To compile laboratory analysis in worksheets (physical and e-file) on a daily basis for superior review and verification.
To ensure laboratory analysis and testing methods are conducted according to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
Responsible for monitoring the inventory of laboratory chemicals, reagents, apparatus, testing media, spare parts, and others, reporting to the supervisor/superior.
To manage and handle all QC Laboratory equipment, maintaining good housekeeping and neat conditions.
To manage internal laboratory equipment verification according to the schedule and standard.
To support laboratory equipment calibration according to the schedule and standard.
To assist in change management processes involving materials, products, and plants including trial activities, validation, and verification processes.
To support GMP compliance in processing areas including production, warehouse, and plant compound.
To assist in pest control activities for the plant and surroundings.
To support internal audit and plant inspection activities according to the standard and schedule.
To assist in external audit programs involving regulatory bodies (MOH, JAKIM, etc.
), certification bodies, and OEM brand customer audits.
To support R&D, production, and Utilities regarding analytical testing.
To assist in internal and external nonconformance, complaint, and feedback investigation and troubleshooting processes.
To manage and handle record compilation and documentation related to QA QC activities and data analysis.
To carry out daily tasks as assigned by the superior.
Are you the one?
STPM holder or Diploma in Science (food technology, food science, or a related field) is typically required, or SPM holder with working experience.
Minimum 1 year of hands-on working experience in QA-QC activities in a food manufacturing environment.
Basic knowledge of laboratory analysis in QC activities, especially in food manufacturing.
Basic knowledge related to GMP, HACCP, FSSC, HALAL, and food manufacturing quality management systems.
Familiarity with quality control & laboratory testing operations related to food.
