**Job Description:- **- To assist Sr. Chemist in ensuring QC dept.'s SOPs, WI and other related documentations are updated as per the standard requirement.- To assist Sr. Chemist in ensuring all in - process and final inspection tests according to the Product Data Sheets or customer requirement.- Verify plant performance by checking all inspection, test results and log of all work done and highlight any issue to Sr. Chemist.- Ensure that product approval status is given on the packing sheet and formulating sheet.- Coordinating and implementing calibrations control of all lab apparatus and equipment. To ensure calibration is carried out according to schedule.- Evaluate raw materials and competitor's products as and when needed.- To facilitate in improving working facilities and environment in laboratory.- To raise Non-Conformance Report to Suppliers/Plant if necessary.- Approval for receiving and dispatches of various raw material and finished product.- Ensure accuracy in analysis to all lab personnel.- Facilitate training in QC Lab to improved working behavior and accuracy.- To ensure of the quality of processed and final product by strictly monitors in-house product specs to ensure no defect product being transfer to final storage tank.- To maintain given budget in Business Plan for present year.- Verification of chemical and additive record and stock for lab used.- Identify new method and establish procedure to improve lab analysis.- Responsible in monitoring produced Certificate of Analysis (COA) as per customer requirements and to verify all COA given to other department or buyers.- Preparing lab duty roster and control on sub-ordinates overtime records.**Qualifications/Skills:- **- A bachelor's degree in Science or any related field.- Minimum 2 years experience in Palm Oil / Palm Kernel Oil refinery.- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to accurately analyze and interpret data from various tests.- Ability to troubleshoot and address issues that may arise during testing processes.**Job Type**: Permanent**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month**Benefits**:- Free parking- Health insurance- Meal allowance- Opportunities for promotion- Professional developmentSchedule:- Monday to FridaySupplemental pay types:- Overtime pay- Yearly bonusExpected Start Date: 04/01/2024
