Summary:
As a member of the Receiving Inspection team, the inspector is responsible to ensure the activities related to the inspection functions in a manner which meets company standards and methods as determined by quality assurance or other engineering departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs inspections for incoming components, materials, subassemblies, and product as conforming to specified requirements in accordance with material specification, drawing and quality assurance standards.
Prepares, records, and updates receiving inspection report form.
Ensures all paperwork contains accurate and legible information. Any discrepancies are noted on the receiving inspection report form.
Performs transaction related to QA sample or nonconforming materials in a defined system if applicable.
Applies approval label, release, and move inspection lots to approve locations, or vice versa apply rejection label and quarantine the nonconforming inspection lots once analytical data is evaluated.
Monitors equipment and instrumentation to ensure it is clean and safe to use.
Uses the Microsoft Suite of product: Word, Excel, Outlooks.
Adheres all GMP, safety guidelines and company standards at all time.
Assumes and performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Typically requires a high school certificate (SPM), or related field with less than 2 years of relevant industry experience and/or training. Fresh graduate are welcome to apply.
Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Must be able to flex schedule to work in different shifts to meet demand.
Preferred Qualifications:
Less than 2 years in in the medical device industry or manufacturing industry previous experience. Fresh graduate are welcome to apply.
Experience using inspection tools (caliper, micrometer, pin gauges)
Ability to understand drawings and tolerances.
Education Requirements:
High school certificate (SPM) or equivalent.
