Job ResponsibilitiesInspects, tests or measures incoming materials/components, sub assembly and finished goods which include fresh goods, returned items, reworks, new product Introduction (NPI) sample or other quality issues by confirming specifications, conducting visual, reliability tests and measurement tests.
Records and documents inspection results by completing daily inspection records, summarizing re-works and wastes and inputting data into the quality database for approval.
This includes collecting and compiling statistical quality data and monitoring data.
Checks that the whole process of making components, sub assemblies or products adheres to standards, procedures and complies with specifications.
Reports it to QC leader or superior.
Reports quality problems and findings to superior and initiates the non-conforming items process.
Participates in quality improvement activities.
Competency RequirementsEducation and Experience:Minimum SPM.
Not required (training provided).
Skills:A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
Good in language - writing and speaking.
Basic computer & inspection skills.
Training:Any related to job function courses.
