In performing their duties, quality managers conduct assessments of company production processes to develop in-house quality policies, procedures, and specifications. They evaluate client requirements to ensure their needs are met by set customer service standards. They also implement and monitor quality assurance standards to ensure consistent product quality.Duties and Responsibilities:Establish quality procedures, standards, and specifications for a company.Collaborate with production to make sure products meet quality requirements.Carry out research to identify ways to reduce waste and maximize resources.Ensure manufacturing processes are in compliance with both national and international standards of production.Collect, compile, and analyze relevant quality statistical data to obtain information regarding quality performance.Supervise supervisors, inspectors, and other company staff to ensure they perform their duties in line with established quality procedures.Review existing processes and product specifications to identify the need for improvement or upgrade.Approve compliant products and reject defective ones.Prepare and present reports to update upper management on quality activities.Maintain proper records of quality tests, procedures, and standards.Requirements and Qualifications:Degree in Electrical Engineering / At least 5 years of experience in a switchboard company.Basic knowledge of drawing and control circuit.Experience in a QA environment is an added advantage.Able to work with a team of quality assurance personnel to make sure raw materials and final products meet set standards of quality.Adapt at planning and developing standards, procedures, and best practices for ensuring product quality.#J-18808-Ljbffr
