Our team in Singapore currently has an opening for a QSHE Manager YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the QSHE committee and team to ensure that Brenntag Asia Pacific's QSHE guideline, strategies, and processes are followed, and that local regulatory requirements and relevant international standards and industry standards are adhered to at any time.
Duties and Responsibilities:-
1. Adhere to Brenntag Asia Pacific's QSHE Guideline
a. Ensurethat the guideline is followed, and report any non-compliance issues,both short term and long term, in writing to the QSHE Manager
b. In theevent if local regulation is more stringent than the guideline, ensuringlocal regulations are followed, and all non-compliance issues arereported in writing as above Ensuring legal and WSHA compliance Primarylicense holder and point of contact with several government agencies,ensure licenses are maintained and renewed in timely manner. Appointedas Fire Safety Manager, lead a team of CERT members, Inclusive of dutiesand responsibilities as per Fire Safety Act - and Fire Safety (Fire SafetyManager) Regulation Point ofcontact with the outsourced security company, overview the securityoperations within the site. Performduties as company appointed Safe Management Measures Officer with HR teamto ensure safe management measures are implemented. Participatein the QSHE committee team meeting and lead QSHE committee as secretary Responsiblein preparation of committee meeting agenda and all necessary follow upactions Beingappointed as the bizSAFE Level 5 Risk Management champion to implementrisk assessment & management for the company Responsibleto ensure that all fire and safety equipment are well maintained and inserviceable condition at all times ConductsIncident investigations EnsureBrenntag is complied with applicable HSE laws and relevant requirements.This includes identification, evaluation and training HSE requirements toemployees
Develop and communicate Brenntag's QSHE Strategy Ensurethat Brenntag Asia Pacific's QSHE strategy is followed and that the QSHEstrategy is well communicated and understood by all employees of Brenntag Developand prioritize projects to close any gaps, identify resources (time,people, costs) to execute these projects, and lead the projects from ideato implementation.
Plan and execute Brenntag's QSHE Processes Lead the ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standardsand facilitate audit for the certificate accreditations, manage and leadsuppliers, customers and regional's audits. Assist the Responsible Care membership Lead statutory compliance to WSHA (WorkplaceSafety & Health Act) Lead Product Stewardship procedure as approver Lead internal facility audits and participatein external facility audits Lead incident/ accident and near missreporting procedures Lead the QSHE training program and carry outand regular communication sessions on safety to the staff Maintain both the Emergency Response Plan(ERP) and Transport Emergency Response Plan (TERP) for the site andoperations. Conduct audit and inspection for 3PL warehouse Support Commercial Teams with QSHE advisoryfor new products classified as DG YOUR PROFILE Job Requirement/ Specification: -
Education: OccupationalHealth and Safety or relevant bachelor's or master's degree
Experience: Minimum5 years/ and above of working experience within QSHE Workingexperience in the chemicals industry an advantage Workingexperience in distribution and/ or logistics an advantage Workingexperience in an international environment an advantage Experiencein Fire Safety and DG management is preferable Knowledgein using the SAP QM module Others:
