**The Company**Our client is one of the top 10 global logistics companies who focus on freight forwarding, customs brokerage, road transport and warehousing solutions globally.Reporting to the Site Manager, the Quality and Inventory Manager will be responsible to ensure quality management is well implemented and quick response to customer requests and quality issues.**The role**- Ensure clearance of stock inbound and outbound discrepancies and advise accordingly.- Analyze operations and processes accuracy, resolve technical and quality issues.- Prepare monthly KPI and reports and ensure timely submission of department reports.- Collaborate with internal team and customer to drive continuous improvement projects on process, improve productivity and cost reductions.- Ensure proper storage of goods and maintain good housekeeping.- Meet all customer's KPIs and internal objectives, conduct regular monitor of the KPIs and quality objectives and performance report to the manager.- Handle quality and inventory management as per customer required standards.- In-charge of document control and QMS System.- Oversee overall customer claim and coordinate internal/external to reduce claim.- Manage warehouse quality standard and assist the operations team.- Manage customer part scrap activity (schedule and non-scheduled waste)- Manage LoPA / ISO 9001 and ensure the culture in the warehouse is maintain.- Develop the company's inventory management and control mechanism.- Oversee control measures aimed at identifying, addressing, and rectifying errors, inaccuracies, and discrepancies by enhancing work processes and systems.- Oversee and monitor department performance and activity and assist logistics operations on reporting and analysis.- Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by Managers.**The requirements**- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or equivalent.- Minimum 5 years of operations management and warehousing experience in the logistics industry.- Able to perform all aspects of warehouse function - loading, unloading, containers etc.- Experience in storage process and inventory management is required.- Familiar with warehousing and logistics documentations (trucking, airfreight, and sea freight documentation).- Good Knowledge of security procedures and basic quality control at inbound and outbound storage.- Good knowledge of usual logistics costs: staff, equipment, and asset utilization.- Strong SAP Skills and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.- Excellent communication and reporting skills.- Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English.**Job Types**: Full-time, PermanentPay: Up to RM8,500.00 per month**Benefits**:- Opportunities for promotion- Professional development**Education**:- Bachelor's (preferred)**Experience**:- Operations Management: 5 years (preferred)- Warehousing: 5 years (preferred)
