Job Description We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Group Quality & Sustainability Manager. This is an exciting role working in collaboration with both the management team and wider stakeholders in the company. We are looking for someone who has previous experience in Quality and Sustainability management and in leading both internal and external audits and has strong experience in quality processes and procedures from a management and planning perspective. The Quality and Sustainability Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the quality assurance and sustainability initiatives within the organization. This role will oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality management systems, sustainability programs, and environmental initiatives to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate objectives. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's quality management system (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 standards and other relevant quality certifications Establish quality assurance processes, procedures, and metrics to monitor and evaluate product quality, performance, and customer satisfaction. Conduct internal audits, inspections, and reviews to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. Lead external audits and certification processes, collaborating with certification bodies, customers, and suppliers as needed. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize quality control processes throughout the product lifecycle. Develop and implement sustainability strategies, goals, and initiatives to minimize environmental impact, conserve resources, and promote eco-friendly practices. Monitor and analyze sustainability metrics, such as energy consumption, waste generation, and carbon footprint, to track progress and identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, procurement, and sales, to integrate sustainability principles into product design, manufacturing processes, and supply chain management. Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory developments related to quality management and sustainability, and recommend appropriate actions to maintain compliance and drive continuous improvement. Educate and train employees on quality assurance standards, sustainability principles, and environmental best practices to foster a culture of quality, sustainability, and continuous improvement. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification in quality management or sustainability preferred. Job Experience and Requirement Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance, quality management, or sustainability roles within the manufacturing industry, preferably in cutting tool manufacturing or related sectors. 5 years' experience as a Quality Assurance Manager Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001), environmental management systems (ISO 14001), and sustainability frameworks (e.g., Sustainable Development Goals, GRI Standards). Experience leading quality audits, certification processes, and sustainability reporting. Proficiency in data analysis, performance metrics, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, PDCA). Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels. Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects in a fast- paced environment Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing and assembly plant processes, procedures, facilities and equipment
