Join Our Team as a Technical Manager (Inspection) at Pioneer Engineering Sdn Bhd!Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Reports to: COO About Us: Pioneer Engineering Sdn Bhd is a leader in engineering, service, and maintenance in the oil & gas industry.We are committed to excellence, innovation, and safety.Join our team and drive success in critical inspection and turnaround projects.Your Role: As the Technical Manager (Inspection), you will oversee all technical matters, manage NDT & inspection contracts, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership: - Manage all technical aspects of NDT & inspection contracts.- Source and select competent personnel for projects.- Ensure compliance with Atomic Energy Licensing Act and other regulations.- Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment.Client Coordination: - Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.- Prepare and submit reports as required by clients.Turnaround Management: - Plan and execute turnaround projects, including scope, schedule, and budget.- Coordinate resources and ensure timely completion of tasks.- Ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards are met.Quality Assurance: - Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with project requirements.- Address and resolve quality issues promptly.Safety and Compliance: - Lead safety meetings and promote a culture of safety.- Conduct safety audits and mitigate risks.Qualifications: Education & Experience: - Degree in any discipline with 7+ years of inspection experience, including 5+ years in a management role.- Certification in API 570, API 510, API 653, CSWIP 3.2, or NDT Level II (PCN or equivalent) preferred.Skills & Attributes: - Strong knowledge of NDT methods and international standards.- Leadership skills with the ability to coordinate and supervise teams.- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.- Willingness to travel as required.Why Join Us?- Lead exciting and challenging projects.- Opportunities for professional growth and development.- Work in a collaborative and innovative environment.Pioneer Engineering Sdn Bhd – Where Your Career Takes Flight!
