About the Role: Brooks Automation is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Auditor to join our team at our new Greenfield, Semiconductor manufacturing facility in Johor, Malaysia. The QA Auditor will be responsible for ensuring that all processes, products, and systems adhere to the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements and plays a critical part in driving Continuous Improvement efforts and maintaining compliance within the manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities: Audit Planning and Execution: Plan, schedule, and conduct internal audits of manufacturing processes, systems, and products to ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations. Evaluate the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS) and recommend improvements where necessary. Prepare site for customer audits and site certifications in preparation for product manufacturing. Process and Product Inspections: Conduct detailed inspections of production processes, from raw materials to finished products, to verify adherence to quality specifications. Monitor manufacturing activities to ensure compliance with ISO standards, semiconductor industry guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Documentation Review and Control: Review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality records to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established standards. Maintain comprehensive audit reports, highlighting findings, non-conformances, and opportunities for improvement. Non-Conformance Identification and Reporting: Identify and document areas of non-compliance or deviations from standard procedures during audits. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA) to address identified issues. Supplier and External Audits: Support supplier audits to ensure that external partners meet Brooks Automation's quality and performance standards. Participate in external audits conducted by regulatory agencies, certification bodies, or customers. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing audit data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for process optimization. Provide recommendations to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and increase efficiency in production processes. Training and Support: Train and educate staff on quality standards, audit procedures, and best practices to promote a culture of quality throughout the facility. Serve as a subject matter expert on quality standards and regulatory requirements, providing guidance to other departments as needed. Any other duties assigned. Qualifications & Competencies: Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in quality auditing, preferably within the Semiconductor or High-Tech manufacturing industry. Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification is highly preferred Knowledge of industry-specific standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or other relevant Semiconductor quality standards is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively report findings and work with cross-functional teams. Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple audits and projects simultaneously. Proficiency in quality management software and data analysis tools; familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies or other process improvement frameworks is advantageous. Fluent in English; proficiency in other regional languages is an added advantage.
