Job SummaryCollaborates with business stakeholders, business analysts, project managers, and development teams to define the necessary tests, test scenarios, and test plans, ensuring they address all business requirements and align with project timelines. Leads testing efforts, supports test teams, and maintains close communication with business stakeholders throughout the testing lifecycle.
Job Accountabilities - Key AccountabilitiesPerforms, monitors, and reports the test execution progress and the overall quality experience of the target test system to the stakeholders.
Coordinates the test execution activities within the test team to ensure that execution progress meets the required timelines.
Produces test plans and reviews the test coverage, and test cases produced by the test analysts and conducts walkthroughs with respective business stakeholders as appropriate.
Executes test cases as per the agreed test plans, logs and retests defects as necessary, using the appropriate test tools.
Assists with root cause analyses and troubleshooting of defects and ensures test environments are set up and available.
Guides and supports the test team and carries out peer reviews to ensure that the deliverables meet the required standards.
Job QualificationsRequired:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
Preferred:
7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Software Testing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience in managing both manual and automated testing processes across multiple projects.#J-18808-Ljbffr
