Job Description:
Determine the adequacy of inspection gates, frequency, sample size, and method.
Review and buy off all 8D reports for effective feedback for corrective actions and improvement.
Participate mandatorily in the Quality Improvement team.
Monitor and control conformance to specifications followed within tolerance limits of the original specifications.
Update and review the quality specifications and provide feedback on changes for internal and external purposes.
Interface with customers on feedback and complaints related to quality issues and coordinate with internal team members to initiate investigations and feedback to customers on action plans.
Ensure all qualifications, evaluations, and characterizations requested by customers meet all requirements.
Responsible for verifying that corrective actions committed are implemented.
Ensure new product/process evaluations and qualifications meet customer requirements.
Identify appropriate statistical tools to be used in the organization.
Monitor the process/equipment capability and provide constructive feedback to operations.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company objectives regarding environment and quality requirements.
Highlight to superiors any activities in the company that may be contrary to the environment & quality policy.
Create awareness and ensure that subordinates are properly trained to carry out their daily activities that may significantly impact the environment and quality.
Ensure that particle count, temperature, and RH are monitored timely according to specified requirements.
