Job Responsibilities:
Conduct monthly internal quality audits and halal internal audits at outlets to ensure food safety, quality, halal, and regulatory compliance.
Conduct monthly petty cash audits at outlets to ensure that the recorded cash balances exist at the balance sheet date and reflect all cash and cash items on hand, in transit, and on deposit with third parties.
Follow up on local authorities' visit findings and ensure corrective actions are taken on a timely basis.
Review food safety requirements of new/renovated outlets. Conduct pre-opening inspections and report the findings.
Conduct food handler training and other related training when required.
Arrange NCP, conduct customer complaints investigation on food safety & food quality issues, and follow up on the findings.
Conduct pest control inspections and report the findings. Handle issues highlighted by Operations and liaise with vendors.
Assist in performing testing on alternative ingredients and packaging that were proposed by SCM.
Assist in performing product testing for certain cooked/RTE products.
Coordinate sampling and documentation for microbiological tests when required.
Assist in product traceability and equipment calibration.
Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superior.
Support Operations and other departments in various programs/activities when required.
Minimum Requirements:
At least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Food Tech, Halal Management, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years' working experience in Halal F&B/Restaurant Industry.
Qualifying in HALAL Management, FSSC 22000, HACCP, and GMP will be an added advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Drive.
Able to work independently.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Capable of keeping up with tight deadlines and excellent attention to detail.
Possess own transport and willing to travel around for work purposes.
MOH certified trainer for Food Handler Course (preferable).
Possess Halal Executive certificate certified by JAKIM (preferable).
